Het smaakvol en met veel liefde ingerichte vakantieappartement is direct aan de oever gelegen, op een prachtige plek tussen het natuurgebied van de rivier 'Irminio' en de plaats Donnalucata.
Het zeer brede zandstrand ligt slechts 450 meter...

Annuleringsbeleid
Als de huurder het contract opzegt vóór het begin van de huurperiode, zonder een vervangende huurder aan te wijzen die onder dezelfde voorwaarden in het contract treedt, zijn de volgende proportionele huren te betalen als compensatie, rekening houdend met de bespaarde kosten, indien het niet mogelijk is om het object anders te verhuren:
tot 60 dagen voor aanvang van de huur: 0% van de huurprijs (aanbetaling wordt teruggestort, minus €50 voor de afhandeling)
59 tot 45 dagen voor aanvang van de huur: 30% van de huurprijs
44 tot 21 dagen voor aanvang van de huur: 80% van de huurprijs
20 tot 0 dagen voor aanvang van de huur: 100% van de huurprijs
Desalniettemin doet de verhuurder zijn best om het huurobject opnieuw te verhuren. Voor gasten van Booking.com gelden de annuleringsvoorwaarden zoals vermeld in de advertentie.

If you want a spacious villa, with private undercover parking, a wonderful patio immediately across a pretty quiet road from the sea, with easy walking distance to the quaint town of Donnalucata and its restaurants, shops and supermarkets - if you like peace and quiet, but easy driving to neighbouring coastal towns, or short day trips to Scicli, Modica and Ragusa, to name only a few - & a very safe area to stay in - this villa is neat, tidy, has everything we needed, and is also run by very good communicators, even in our language - then this is the one to choose for sure. Believe me, the ratings are very real.
These folks even provide free bikes for two. And it's pretty flat cycling around here on the coast.

There is nowhere on this planet quite like Sicily – its cultural, gastronomic, architectural and historical assets are wonderful. This beautiful apartment has firmly established a special place in our hearts. For over 20 years, we have been spending happy spring and/or autumn holidays in Donnalucata. We now have many good friends in the Ragusa area, initially through a shared love of ‘green Sicily’ and exploration of its hidden valleys and hills by mountain bike; for the last six of these years, we have had the pleasure of staying in Fabia’s wonderful holiday house. We usually visit in June or September, when the weather is almost always sunny and warm, but the crowds of high summer are absent. At this time of year, the Mediterranean light on Sicily’s beautiful landscapes and seascapes are stupendous.
We love many aspects of this beautiful home. First of all, it is a lovely space in which to spend time, its cool, white and airy décor and artwork beautifully reflecting the colours of the sky and sea. We never tire of sitting out on the balcony, looking out at the sea, savouring a good cup of coffee in the morning or enjoying a glass of good wine with a few savoury antipasti in the early evening.It is also extremely comfortable - Fabia has also thought of every possible need that her guests might have, ranging from the tiniest children’s cup to the giant outdoor parasol!
The local food is, of course, totally amazing and there are numerous interesting, excellent places to eat – Fabia gives us lots of recommendations on different styles of local restaurants, as well as many helpful tips on how to cook at home the many delicious ingredients which abound in the markets and local shops.
This beautiful apartment has become our ‘home from home’ in Sicily and we genuinely feel like honorary residents of this small, friendly community in Via Balena when we return here every year.

Non c'è nessun posto su questo pianeta come la Sicilia: i suoi beni culturali, gastronomici, architettonici e storici sono meravigliosi. Questo bellissimo appartamento ha completamente stabilito un posto speciale nei nostri cuori. Da oltre 20 anni trascorriamo felici vacanze primaverili e/o autunnali a Donnalucata. Ora abbiamo tanti buoni amici ragusani, inizialmente grazie all'amore condiviso per la "Sicilia verde" e esplorazione delle sue valli e colline nascoste in mountain bike; negli ultimi sei di questi anni, abbiamo avuto il piacere di soggiornare nella meravigliosa casa di Fabia. Di solito, visitiamo a giugno o settembre, quando il clima è quasi sempre soleggiato e caldo, ma le folle di alta estate sono assenti. In queste stagioni dell'anno, la luce del Mediterraneo sugli splendidi paesaggi e paesaggi marini della Sicilia è veramente stupenda.
Amiamo molti aspetti di questa bella casa. Prima di tutto, è uno spazio incantevole in cui trascorrere un po’ di tempo, con il suo arredamento fresco, bianco e arioso e le sue opere d'arte che riflettono magnificamente i colori del cielo e del mare. Non ci stanchiamo mai di stare seduti in balcone a guardare il mare, gustando un buon caffè al mattino o gustando un bicchiere di buon vino con qualche antipasto salato la sera. Inoltre è estremamente confortevole - Fabia ha pensato anche a ogni possibile esigenza dei suoi ospiti, dalla più piccola tazza per bambini al gigantesco ombrellone da sole esterno! La cucina tipica della zona è, ovviamente, assolutamente incredibile e ci sono numerosi posti interessanti dove posti dove si può mangiare bene – Fabia ci dà molti consigli su diversi stili di ristoranti locali, oltre a molti consigli utili su come cucinare a casa i tanti deliziosi ingredienti che abbondano nei mercati e nei negozi locali.
Questo bellissimo appartamento è diventato la nostra "casa lontano da casa" in Sicilia e ci sentiamo sinceramente residenti onorari di questa piccola e amichevole comunità in Via Balena quando torniamo qui ogni anno.
