Das Ferienhaus Seelöwe hat eine ausgezeichnete Lage und ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung läßt keine Wünsche offen. Mit zwei Balkonen hat man schöne Erholungsorte, nach vorne mit Blick in den kleinen Hafen, wo man immer was zu sehen hat. Der Kontakt zu den Eheleuten Beyer war sehr freundlich und mit schneller Rückmeldung. Parken kann man direkt in Hausnähe und auch für mitgebrachte Fahrräder gibt es Abstellmöglichkeiten. Abends konnten wir idyllische Sonnenuntergänge direkt vom Wohnzimmersofa aus sehen. Alles prima Voraussetzungen für einen erholsamen Urlaub.

Copenhagen has its colored houses in ''Nyhavn''. There are also such colorful houses in the port of Stavoren. Stavoren has 2 harbours: the inner harbor and the outer harbour. The ports are separated by a lock. The colored houses are on the edge of the outer harbor. The 22 colored houses on the harbor front are part of a new-build complex around the site of the former Blokhuis (1522 - 1580). The wood-clad houses were designed by KAOS architects, inspired by warehouses. All kinds of variations have been implemented within that basic principle. After completion in 2000, all owner-occupied homes had a brick red-orange color with small nuances in the hue. Over the years, residents have repainted more and more houses in a different color. It is not clear whether this was already the architects' intention or whether it arose spontaneously. The colored houses are among the most photographed places in Stavoren.
