Could not recommend this hotel more (I almost don't want to because I want to keep it a secret for myself!!). Everything was absolutely perfect from the moment we arrived, to even the odd requests such as "does the kitchen happen to have some bread" (at 10 pm at night before a big bike ride the next morning). The rooms are beautiful. We didn't have an ocean view but didn't feel like we missed out because as you walk around the property, you can see the ocean from most places. We truly valued the privacy and quiet relaxation the hotel provided. The three infinity pools were absolutely wonderful.
As far as food is concerned, make sure you take advantage of the half board. The breakfast is amazing. In fact, we'd cycle in the very early hours of the morning just so we could get back in time for breakfast! If you want to eat off property, a car is definitely a must. It's a bit harder as there are only a few places truly close by. Our last evening, we walked over to Can Simoneta and had an absolutely wonderful meal. So glad we could share their facility! The restaurant onsite at Pleta de Mar is a bit pricey for dinner and for me, did not have as many options as I'd like. I think there was one or two things on the menu that I wanted and once I had the steak, I didn't feel like I needed to go back for another dinner. They do serve an interesting and delicious selection of food at the bar right next door so that was great.
In any case, I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. It was just wonderful!
